Q. Sometimes, when I run a virus scan I get a hit on a file in a folder called _restore that cannot be cleaned, deleted or guaranteed. What's this all about?

Q. When I click on Start and a program has recently been installed, there is a popup that tells me that there has been a new program installed. I find this annoying so can this popup be turned off?

Q. Doesn't XP have a pretty good pop up blocker in it? IF it does how do you install it? If it doesn't do you know of a pretty good one that is free?

Q. Some times when I am running an application, I get a "runtime error". It has a number and some message that I don't understand. What are these runtime errors all about?

Q. Sometimes when I go to a website a box pops up that asks "Do you want to allow Java applets ?"  Nothing noticeable happens if I say yes or no and the same question pops up repeatedly as I move around the site.   What is a Java appellate?  Should I allow them or not?
