January 6, 2008	Q. Should I do anything special to my personal computer before I give it away?
January 13, 2008	Q. For some reason, my DVD burner has slowed down to a burning speed that is a fraction of what it used to be. Does my DVD burner need replacing? If not, what could have caused this slow down, and how can I get my burning speed back?
January 20, 2008	Q. Sometimes I email a file to myself as an attachment so I can later access it from another location. It's sending from my email address to my email address, so why does it sometimes take hours before it arrives in my mailbox? It's really not going anywhere.
January 27, 2008	Q. A friend asked me how to get all the junk off her clipboard. Doesn't it clear itself when the computer is shut down? Q. In XP, I used Tweak UI to stop my shortcuts from always having the words "Shortcut to" stuck on the front of their name. Vista doesn't have a Tweak UI so is there a way to eliminate it in Vista?

March 2, 2008	Q. When I send an email, I get a yellow caution triangle that indicates there was a problem sending it. The email usually goes, but it remains in the outbox and sends again and again. The only way I can fix it is to manually delete it from the outbox. How can I fix this.
March 9, 2008	Q. I am editing a large video file, and every now and then, my screen goes black and the computer seems to lock up. Is there anything I can do to prevent this?
March 16, 2008	Q. When I shut down the computer it goes through the usual motions, but never completely shuts off even if I wait a long time. I am using Windows XP-SP2. I wait a while then turn it off manually. Is there a better way?
